Who we are

Our story

ATAM — Almir Trubljanin Architecture and Management — was founded in 2020 in Bettembourg, Luxembourg, as an architectural practice rooted in precision, continuity, and thoughtful intervention. Initially focused on small-scale residential projects and renovations, the office developed through a close engagement with existing structures, where each project became an exploration of space, function, and context. As the practice gained recognition and the trust of its clients, it expanded and relocated to Esch-sur-Alzette, allowing for a broader scope of work and a more direct dialogue with clients and collaborators. This evolution reflects not only a growth in scale, but a deepening of the office’s architectural ambition. From the outset, ATAM has been structured around a comprehensive approach to architecture. The practice integrates all phases of the project—ranging from initial analysis and design to obtaining authorizations, construction management, and consultancy—ensuring coherence and clarity throughout the entire process. Architecture is understood here as a continuous act of mediation between ideas, constraints, and lived realities. Operating within the Luxembourgish context, where residential development predominates, ATAM seeks to create architecture that is both functional and accessible, yet carefully articulated. The work aspires to balance economic awareness with spatial quality, offering solutions that enhance everyday living while remaining grounded in practical realities. Looking forward, ATAM aims to extend its engagement beyond private commissions, participating in public projects, competitions, and broader architectural discourse. The ambition is to contribute to a built environment that is not only efficient and responsive, but also meaningful—where architecture serves both its users and the cultural landscape in which it is embedded.

what do we do

Our mission

At ATAM — Almir Trubljanin Architecture and Management — our mission is to cultivate an architectural practice that operates as a coherent and continuous process, where design, analysis, and realization are inseparably linked. We are committed to guiding each project from its earliest conceptual stage through to its material completion, ensuring clarity, precision, and responsibility at every step. We strive to create architecture that is both functional and accessible, responding to the everyday realities of living while elevating them through thoughtful spatial articulation. Within the constraints of contemporary residential development, we see an opportunity to reinterpret necessity as a driver of design—transforming limitations into frameworks for innovation, comfort, and durability. Our work is grounded in a close dialogue with clients, where trust and understanding become essential tools in shaping meaningful spaces. By integrating design with management, we aim to simplify complexity, offering a comprehensive service that allows architecture to unfold as a unified vision rather than a fragmented process. Beyond the immediate scope of individual projects, our mission extends toward a broader engagement with the built environment. We seek to contribute to future public projects and architectural discourse, advocating for spaces that are not only efficient and economically viable, but also culturally resonant and enduring in their presence.
